Location

Sailing Moreton Bay on a 35 foot, fully catered and skippered Seawind 1000XL sailing catamaran called Ulysses. “Ulysses” is an Australian custom built Seawind 1000XL launched in 2010.

Departing from Newport Marina, 35 minutes from Brisbane, enjoy the scenery of Moreton Bay, Redcliffe and Bribie Island from the luxury of a 35 foot sailing catamaran, with her wide beam offering a comfortable sailing experience.

Day Sail – Sail into Moreton Bay, setting a course for Tangalooma or Cowan Cowan on Moreton Island, Bribie Island’s Red Beach or Bramble Bay, discovering dolphins, turtles, sting rays and sea birds. Sometimes during the whale migration season mother whales enter into Moreton Bay to rest their calves.

Marvel at the splendour of the great sand island at Brisbane’s doorstep. Swim in crystal clear waters, or relax on board and enjoy fresh local seafoods and produce. Includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Minimum 4 people and maximum 12 6 – 8 hours, departs at 9am from Newport Waterways Marina or Bongaree Jetty on Bribie Island. (sorry no children under 5 years of age)

Take advantage of the beautiful vista of sunsets over The Glasshouse Mountains and the D’Agular Ranges offered from the waters of northern Moreton Bay. Either departing from Bongaree Jetty on Bribie Island or from the Scarborough Boat Harbour, north of Redcliffe, the tranquil glassy waters of Moreton Bay provide the perfect backdrop to the spectacular sunset while you enjoy a romantic cruise around the bay. Enjoy local cheeses, fresh fruit and a complimentary glass of Champagne.

Depart from a private mooring at Newport for a weekend of adventure, discovery and romance. You will enjoy the privacy of your own hull which has a Queen size berth and private ensuite. Leaving around 10am on either Friday or Saturday, we offer a fully catered weekend serving freshly baked morning teas, lunches, and afternoon tea. We sail to your preferred anchorage for the night to feast on a BBQ dinner, followed by a sumptuous breakfast on the following morning. We arrive back at the departure point mid-afternoon. Let us know what sort of activity, or inactivity, you prefer and we will prepare a course to meet your desire. Winds permitting we can visit Moreton Island, Peel Island, Deception Bay or The Brisbane River. Maximum 2 people
