Low Isles
Named by Captain Cook in 1770, it lies 8 nautical miles (15 Km) to the East of Port Douglas. The Island is uniquely picturesque with its still operational 1878 lighthouse, white sandy beaches, coconut palms and lush vegetation. It is surrounded by a fringing coral reef that offers at least 15 varieties of soft coral and a further 150 varieties of hard corals. With the occasional turtle sighting and many varieties of
colourful fish, the reefs offer great snorkelling at close proximity to the mainland.

Marcrista, 52 feet, is one of the most luxuriously appointed, sophisticated and functional yachts, operating in Australian waters. She was designed by world renowned naval architects and custom built to Australia’s highest safety standards. A yacht of her calibre is normally in the hands of private owners and not available for chartering. In Marcrista’s case however, her owner operators, enthusiastically offer her for exclusive charter to share the Great Barrier Reef experience and the opportunity to visit some of the most secluded areas of this pristine paradise. Marcrista offers private day charter to Low Isles, the Outer Reef and extended overnight charter to fully experience the amazing reefs and beauty of this area; visiting sparkling sand cays, deserted islands and the absolute jewel of the reef, the stunningly beautiful Lizard Island.
